With the receipt of the following message from the Saskatchewan Broomball Association:
“It’s with a heavy heart that we let you all know about the passing of Don Black, President of the Saskatchewan Broomball Association, after a yearlong battle with cancer. His dedication and love for the sport of Broomball will greatly be missed, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this sad time.”
The IFBA Board wished to advise that a great friend and stalwart of broomball has sadly passed away. Those who attended the recent IFBA World Broomball Championships in Regina will all fondly remember Don Black as a kind, generous and tireless active person of great drive who thought of all others before himself and that the event must be a success.
