An exceptional career in Italian broomball

Elisa Dallago enjoyed an outstanding broomball career spanning from 1992 to 2019. Over 26 seasons, she competed in 19 Italian Championship finals and captured an extraordinary 16 national titles — nine with A.S.D. Geier and seven with Rotalnord B.C.

With 16 championships, Elisa holds the record for the most Italian titles won by any athlete in the history of the sport.

A record-setting scorer

In addition to her remarkable championship record, Elisa established herself as one of the most dominant offensive players in Italian broomball.

She was the top scorer in multiple seasons and remains the all-time leading scorer in Italian broomball history, with nearly 300 goals.

Representing Italy internationally

Elisa represented Italy at four World Broomball Championships: Bolzano in 1998, Corner Brook in 2004, Minneapolis in 2006 and Vancouver in 2008.

She also competed in three European Championships: Telfs in 2009, Lausanne in 2015 and Egna in 2017.

Her performance at the 2009 European Championships was particularly memorable, earning her the tournament’s MVP award.

An extraordinary legacy

The only major title absent from Elisa’s remarkable playing record is a World Championship. In a unique twist of timing, the Italian women’s national team captured the World Championship in Innsbruck in 2010, when Elisa was unable to compete because she was pregnant.

Over more than two decades, Elisa Dallago established a record of achievement that remains unmatched in Italian broomball. Her 16 national championships, nearly 300 career goals, international appearances and individual honours distinguish her as one of the most accomplished players in the history of the Italian game.
