With the next IFBA World Broomball Championship now less than 12 months away there are many questions now being asked. Questions such as team registration, where can I stay, banquet tickets, what about transport options, who else is going, what division are on offer etc etc.The portal for team registration is now under final testing and once this is satisfactorily completed it will be uploaded to this web site. Initially there will be the ability to register a team as well as purchase banquet tickets as required. Team fees will be $1250.00 per team (In Canadian dollars) if using sponsored hotels/motels, and $1850.00 (again in Canadian dollars) if choosing a non sponsored hotel/motel. Banquet tickets will be $40 ea (in Canadian dollars)Booking practice ice will be added later as soon as we find out how much can be sourced.We are currently awaiting the final details on all available hotels/motels as well as transport options from the host. This has been promised by end of December and a link will also be added to the web site as soon as this come in.
Who is coming – Australia has indicated they will have a team in each division, Italy have said they will be sending teams, Japan have also indicated they can field at least 4 teams (more if necessary), Unconfirmed (but most likely) are the Swiss, Slovenians, Germans, Austrians, USA. There are several club teams already indicating a desire to be in Tomakomai from Canada and we may see a team from Russia and the Czech Republic.Divisions on offer will be Mens (World Cup), Mens (Challenge Cup), Womens, Mixed (Co-Ed), and Masters.
